Voyage of Hope

Voyage of Hope" reflects on the 26 years of the Sri Lankan civil war (1983–2009) and my return to Jaffna in 1995. That year, I traveled back from England—at one point by boat—marking a powerful moment of reconnection. Through layered artworks of fractured boats, sculptural forms, and textured elements, I explore resilience, memory, and the enduring hope that guided me back to my homeland.
